Taking place in year 12 of the reign of Akhenaten, just months after the death of Amenhotep 3.
This celestial event is mentioned in one of the Amarna tablets that renders the message sent from Abimilku, ruler of Tyre, to Akhenaten about the burning down of the palace at Ugarit in the reign of Nikmaddu 2, ruler of Ugarit
