Makeda, Queen of Sheba (Bilkis, Belquis, Niculis, Nikaulis)
ruled circa 970 BCE to 949 BCE (ruled circa 1006 BCE to 975 BCE)

The legendary Queen of Sheba.

According to the (unconfirmed) information given in the Kebra Nagast the Queen Makeda came to Solomon in his 7th and her 6th year of reign, which in the New Chronology would be 964 BCE. Makeda's son Bayna-Lekhem Menyelek came to Solomon in the Israelite king's 29th year of reign (NC 942 BCE). The whereabouts of her home city or country are still heavily disputed.
